Ingredients:
- 60
gm butter
- 1½
cups self raising flour (In Taipei you can buy self-raising
flour from the Tien Mou Grocery)
- 1
cup fine sugar
- ¼
cup cocoa
- ¾
cup milk
- 2
teaspoons vanilla
- 1
cup brown sugar
- ½
cup extra cocoa
- 2
cups boiling water
Method:
1.
Place butter in microwave dish; place in microwave oven and
melt on HIGH for 1 minute.
2.
Stir in sifted flour, sugar, cocoa, milk and vanilla.
3.
Beat with wooden spoon until smooth.
4.
Sprinkle with combined sifted brown sugar, and extra cocoa.
5.
Pour boiling water carefully over the mixture.
6.
Cook on HIGH for 12 minutes or until cooked in the centre,
Let stand for 5 minutes.
Comment:
Good served with cream or ice cream. Even better on its own
(you can eat more).
