"Here’s to the food at our table, the wine in our glass and the friends that share both with us.”


Ingredients:

  • 1 small onion, peeled and quartered OR 2 sticks celery sliced (I prefer celery for a slightly different flavour)
  • 50 gm (2 oz) blue cheese (Australian King Island Blue is ideal if you can get it)
  • 6 oz carton sour cream
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 measure dry Vermouth
  • Dash of olive oil




Method:

1. Place onion or celery in the mixing bowl of a food processor and chop finely

2. Add the blue cheese, sour cream Vermouth and oil and mix together until blended (about 20 seconds)

3. Add pepper to taste and blend again for 5 seconds.

Comment: Makes a delicious salad dressing but make sure you store in the refrigerator.
