SARS Update - June 9, 2003

The Department of Health has confirmed that the two suspects quarantined last week as potential SARS suspects were not SARS infected. There is only one remaining suspect in quarantine, a woman from the Visayas who flew to Manila from Taipei on May 17 and developed a fever on May 29. Two of her family members are also under quarantine at the Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center. There are no suspects being held in Manila or the rest of the Luzon area.
